Cookies for Hospitals Project
My Special Project
What is a superhero? In the movies, it is a person with superpowers who fights the bad guys. But in real life, it is our health care workers who fight this COVID19 every single day even though it poses a greater risk to them.
This year I am gathering donations to provide cookies to the Stanford Cancer Center South Bay and to the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. These two hospitals are special to me as well. My mother if battling cancer and the doctors and nurses at Stanford have worked hard for her even during this pandemic. And my neighbor and grandfather work at SC Valley Medical and I have heard how difficult it is for the workers there.
I want to make sure that every person gets some boxes of cookies to take home and share with their families and to let them know we are thinking about them an appreciate their work in these times. So, I urge you to be generous! Show them you care too and donate whatever you can for cookies for our health care workers.

How To Donate!
There is a donate button on the Girl Scout order website, DON'T USE THAT BUTTON for my special project because that is a different donation that is headed by the Girl Scout organization. We have to put this order in separately. Email us on how much you would like to donate and we accept payment via venmo, paypal or zelle. Just to let you know that since this is a personal project, we won't be able to give any tax deduction receipts.
Whatever money we collect, I am going to buy different types of cookies to bring to the hospitals and let the superheroes there know we are thinking of them! We will post the number of boxes donated at the end of this season.

As of March 31st, we reached our goal of 259! Some of the boxes are the premium price of $7 too.
Our goal is 250 boxes, but more would be great as we can give to more healthcare workers.
